Design & Construction-Flagstick
& Schmidt-Curley

Designed by renewed golf course architect Lee Schmidt, from Schmidt-Curley Design, the course has become a mainstay on televisions around the world as host venue for Thailand's biggest Championships. A favorite amongst the very best players to have taken up the game, Amata Spring Country Club's tradition and name inspire a passion for the sport.

Flagstick is truly honored to have been part of this world class golf facility for many years now. The goals of the ASCC management team have always been to develop ideas and concepts to improve the golf course to ensure it remains the best it can be, and I believe the outstanding results of the golf course speak for themselves. It has been very satisfying to watch the club improve and mature through the years. Being a resident of Thailand myself, with a passion for excellent golf courses, ASCC will always maintain a very special place in my heart.

Martin Moore – Flagstick President

When Schmidt-Curley was directed to produce a world class golf course on the property, key to the project was a commitment from ownership to spare no expense. This helped in the creation of a golf environment that not only transformed an otherwise flat site into a wonderful canvas of sweeping and dramatic grade changes but also used the existing lakes with the visionary inclusion of a floating green, the first of its kind in all of Asia. The now years- long establishment of a virtual forest of trees and other vegetation has transformed the property and a golf landscape highlighted with dramatic bunkering demands the best of players, even the elites. It is no wonder the course has become one of the most favored of professional golfers from the European and Asian Tours as well as members and guests of all abilities. We consider ASCC to be not only one of our finest creations, but one of Asian Golf’s finest courses.
